Kimberly Moore & Cheyo Carrillo Support the community!
The EZ Way team was proud to support friend Kimberly Moore, with here wonderful event today in Lakewood Ca,
Vice President of EZ WAY BROADCASTING represented EZ WAY and hung with stars which was the community today!
By: Dante Reporter
“Adopt a Letter Charity Event”
Lynwood was jumping today to the sounds of Xavier “El Cheyo” Carrillo, of Twiins Music Group, who provided a free concert to the public. The cause was Kimberly Moore’s annual “Adopt a Letter” Charity event, held at Plaza Mexico, on Imperial Highway at Long Beach Blvd.
There were literally hundreds of young girls lined up for a photo opportunity with Cheyo after his set. Carrillo’s “Ni Tan Mini, N Tan Chico” had them screaming with enthusiasm, while “El Ladron” kept them at fever pitch.
Kimberly Moore’s Charity is in its sixth year, and has already answered the letters of Thirty Thousand kids, delivering a gift to each doorstep. This is a noble cause and should be supported in every community.
Plaza Mexico was packed and parking was scarce, as the crowd welcomed Angeles Ochoa, who has amassed a global audience with her Folk Style. Angeles is as charming and personable as her comforting and engaging melodies, which have captivated audiences since she was a mere six years old. Dr. Estrella Sneider from LA Talk Radio was also on hand for the festivities, along with other celebrities.
However, the posters of allegiance to Kimberly are what undoubtedly stood out. “We Love You Kimberly” and “Thank You Kimberly” read like confetti throughout the packed venue, earmarking what has come to be known as a worthy and rewarding commitment to underprivileged kids.
Kimberly Moore is a hero in the community, and is breaking down barriers with her efforts. “Adopt a Letter” is growing exponentially!
The community showing their gratitude!
Let’s Check out Kim and Cheyo doing their thing on stage!

Justin Bieber Domination at the American Music Awards
AMA’s THE EZ WAY
Wow this years American Music Awards was cool. Some of the performances… I think they could have picked some better people. (Just my opinon) I think the Ludacris, Swiss Beats, Chris Brown performance was hot. The grand finally final performances of Stevie Wonder tribute to Dick Clark and the Gundam style MC HAMMER performance was a cool twist! I think Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj handled themselves very well excepting their awards. I also thought it was cool that Bieber brought up his mom when he received artist of the year.
America proved its Bieber Fever was strong: The teen singer dominated the American Music Awards on Sunday night.
Bieber’s wins included the show’s top award, artist of the year. His mom joined him onstage as he collected the trophy, beating out Rihanna, Maroon 5, Katy Perry and Drake.
“I wanted to thank you for always believing in me,” Bieber said, looking to his mom.
The 18-year-old also won the honor in 2010. He said it’s “hard growing up with everyone watching me” and asked that people continue to believe in him.
Bieber and Nicki Minaj performed together — and separately — at the AMAs, and were both multiple winners.
But another collaboration was the night’s most colorful performance: Korean rapper PSY and MC Hammer. Hammer joined the buzzed-about pop star for his viral hit “Gangnam Style.” PSY rocked traditional “Hammer” pants as they danced to his jam and to Hammer’s “Too Legit to Quit.”
Bieber won favorite pop/rock male artist in the first award handed out at Sunday’s show and gave a shout-out to those who didn’t think he would last on the music scene.
“I want to say this is for all the haters who thought I was just here for one or two years. I feel like I’m going to be here for a very long time,” he said.
He also won favorite pop/rock album for his platinum-selling third album, “Believe.” He gave a stripped down, acoustic performance of “As Long As You Love Me,” then transitioned to the dance-heavy “Beauty and a Beat,” where Minaj joined him onstage, grinding with the teen for a few seconds.
Minaj, who wore three different wigs and four outfits throughout the night, repeated her AMAs wins from last year, picking up trophies for favorite rap/hip-hop artist and album for “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.” She was in an all-white get-up, including fur coat and pink hair when she performed her new song “Freedom.” The scene was ghostly and snowy, as a choir — also in white — joined her onstage. One background singer stole the performance, belting semi-high notes as Minaj looked on.
As Bieber won his second award, he was kissed on the neck by Jenny McCarthy, who presented the award.
“Wow. I feel violated right now,” he said, laughing.
“I did grab his butt,” McCarthy said backstage. “I couldn’t help it. He was just so delicious. So little. I wanted to tear his head off and eat it.”
Bieber’s red and black outfit seemed to be the night’s theme, as Taylor Swift and Usher wore similar ensembles.
Usher kicked off the three-hour show with green laser lights beaming onstage as he performed a medley of songs, including “Numb,” ”Climax” and “Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop,” which featured a smoky floor and a number of backup dancers, as Usher jammed in all black, with the exception of his red shoes. He won favorite soul/R&B male artist.
Swift won her fifth consecutive award for favorite country female artist.
“This is unreal. I want to thank the fans. You guys are the ones who voted on this,” she said.
Swift gave a masquerade-themed performance of the pop song “I Knew You Were Trouble.” She sang onstage in a light dress while dancers wore mostly black. But then she changed into a red corset and black skirt, matching their dark mood. She even danced and sang on the floor as lights flickered throughout the performance.
Dick Clark, who created the AMAs, was remembered by Ryan Seacrest and an upbeat performance by Stevie Wonder.
“What a producer he was,” said Seacrest, as Wonder sang his hits, including “My Cherie Amour.”
Carly Rae Jepsen, who performed early in the night, won favorite new artist.
“I am floored. Wow,” she said, thanking Bieber and his manager, Scooter Braun.
Party girl Ke$ha was glammed up on the red carpet, rocking long, flowy blonde hair and a light pink dress. She switched to her normal attire when she performed her hit single “Die Young.” It was tribal, with shirtless dancers in skin-tight pants, silver hair and skeleton-painted faces, who also played the drums. Ke$ha was pants-less, rocking knee-high boots and rolling on the floor as she finished up the song.
Minaj and Christina Aguilera were blonde bombshells, too: Minaj’s hair was busy and full of volume and she sported a neon strapless gown to accept her first award. Aguilera wore a blonde bob in a purple dress that matched her eyeshadow.
Aguilera performed a medley of material from her new album and joined Pitbull onstage.
Kelly Clarkson also hit the stage, making a nod to her “American Idol” roots with a number on her dress and three judges looking on as she sang “Miss Independent.” Then she went into “Since U Been Gone,” ”Stronger” and “Catch My Breath.” It’s worth noting that “Idol” judge Randy Jackson introduced Clarkson, the first-ever winner of the show. He also advised people to donate through Red Cross for Superstorm Sandy victims.
Fellow “Idol” winner Carrie Underwood won best favorite country album and performed, hitting the right notes while singing “Two Black Cadillacs.” She talked about singing competition shows backstage.
“These people that go on these shows are so talented, you know? And I would love to see if so many of the other artists that are out there today would go back and try out for these shows, because they might get their behinds kicked by some of the contestants,” she said.
Luke Bryan won favorite country male artist and Lady Antebellum favorite country group.
American Music Awards nominees were selected based on sales and airplay, and fans chose the winners by voting online. At this award show, even the stars were fans: Pink said on the red carpet that she’d like to collaborate with Lauryn Hill. Cyndi Lauper said her musical playlist includes Pink and Minaj. Boy band The Wanted said they were excited to see PSY and Colbie Caillat wanted to watch No Doubt.
“What makes the American Music Awards special is the fans choose the winning artists,” said Chester Bennington of Linkin Park, who won favorite alternative rock artist and performed “Burn It Down,” as Brandy sang along and Gwen Stefani, Usher and Phillip Phillips bobbed their heads.
David Guetta won the show’s first-ever electronic dance music award. Non-televised awards went to Katy Perry for pop/rock female artist, Beyonce for soul/R&B female artist, Adele for adult contemporary artist and Shakira for Latin artist.

2012 BET Awards: Beyonce, Chris Brown, Kanye West

mother gives emotional tribute
Cissy Houston’s tribute to her late daughter was the emotional highlight of

Beyonce and Kim Kardashian both dazzled at the BET awards.
Cissy Houston’s tribute to her late daughter was the emotional highlight of Sunday’s BET Awards, a show that was defined by extended bleeps and the vulgarities that censors failed to catch onstage throughout the night.
Whitney Houston‘s mother gave a rousing performance of “Bridge Over Troubled Water” that left the crowd in tears, including Beyonce and Melanie Fiona.
CHRISTOPHER POLK/GETTY IMAGES
Kim Kardashian put on a smile at the BET awards and showed off the low-cut back of her white dress.
Mariah Carey opened the tribute with memories of her friend. She was followed by a moving number by Monica. Brandy, heavily influenced by Houston, sang two of the late singer’s hits. Chaka Khan blazed the stage with “I’m Every Woman,” which Houston remade. Gary Houston, Whitney’s brother, also performed.
But the nearly four-hour BET Awards was more like the Bleep Awards, as entire segments of performances from Nicki Minaj to Rick Ross were muted out due to foul language.

Beyonce, Jay-Z and Kanye West seemed to be enjoying themselves while Kim Kardashian looked a bit distant and put out.
It started during the opening number by Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. music group, which included Big Sean, Pusha T and 2 Chainz. There were long moments of censored silence when the rappers performed “Mercy,” though not all the offending words were bleeped out. Moments later, Samuel L. Jackson, the show’s host, was joined by Spike Lee as they did a comedic version of Jay-Z and West’s hit song “… In Paris,” to laughs.
“Two distinguished Morehouse men,” Lee joked after the performance, referencing the alma mater of the two.
The censor police also worked overtime when Rick Ross performed with his Maybach Music Group and during Minaj’s performance and acceptance speech for best female hip-hop artist. Minaj’s win was her third consecutive time taking the prize.

Despite sitting far apart during the awards, Kim and Beyonce did give each other a hello at the event.
“I really, really appreciate BET for keeping this category alive, and I appreciate all the female rappers doing their thing, past, present and future,” she said, before uttering an obscenity.
Gospel star Yolanda Adams, who also performed, gently took some of her peers to task as she won best gospel artist, urging them to act mature and use their fame wisely.
“We need all of y’all,” she said. “I’m saying the world needs everyone in this room. Please make sure that you use your gift responsibly, ’cause we’re watching. Our babies are watching, and they want to be like us.”

Mariah Carey opened the tribute to Whitney Houston.
West, who was up for seven awards, was the top nominee. Beyonce was the second most nominated act with six. She won video director of the year (along with Alan Ferguson) and best female R&B artist and thanked the genre and her female influences.
“I fell in love with music by listening to R&B. It’s the core of who I am,” she said, giving special thanks to Lauryn Hill, Mary J. Blige and “Whitney Houston, my angel.”

When she lost video of the year to Jay-Z and West, she playfully hit her husband and laughed. The joking continued: Moments later, as West was giving his acceptance speech, Jay-Z interrupted him and said: “Excuse me Kanye, I’m gonna let you continue, but …,” and the audience erupted with laughter, recalling West’s infamous interruption of Taylor Swift’s MTV Video Music Awards speech a few years back.
Chris Brown was also a double winner. Kevin Hart — who hosted the awards last year — also won for best actor, Big Sean was named best new artist and Wale and Miguel’s smooth hit “Lotus Flower Bomb” won best collaboration.

Kanye West and Jay Z celebrated at the BET awards.
The tone of the night fluctuated frequently, as the show shifted from hotly anticipated performances to solemn moments to irreverence. Usher performed his groove “Climax,” and Nicki Minaj sported a blonde wig with pink tips as she performed the songs “Champion” and “Beez In the Trap,” which featured 2 Chainz.
The night also featured some tributes to deceased greats: Chante Moore performed a medley of Donna Summer’s hits and Valerie Simpson sang a song in honor of her husband and writing partner Nick Ashford. Don Cornelius, Dick Clark and Hal Jackson were remembered. Even West offered tributes: after his performance, he name-dropped Rodney King and Whitney Houston in a verse that got cheers from the crowd, including his girlfriend, Kim Kardashian.

Presenters included Taraji P. Henson, Kerry Washington and Jamie Foxx, who wore a T-shirt that had a picture of Trayvon Martin, the Florida teen killed by neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman.
Frankie Beverly featuring Maze were honored with the lifetime achievement award, and they were serenaded with performances by Tyrese, Faith Evans and Joe.
D’Angelo also performed, his first televised performance in years as he attempts a comeback.
Brown also performed in his first televised appearance since the New York City nightclub brawl between his entourage and Drake’s. Brown, his girlfriend, his bodyguard and NBA star Tony Parker were among those injured in the June 14 encounter, where bottles were thrown.
Drake, however, didn’t show, despite being nominated.
